Lund University's long-term work environment goal is a sustainable work environment for everyone working at the university.
Special focus on three areas
To achieve this goal, Lund University will during the years 2024 to 2027 - with the ongoing systematic work environment work as a basis - particularly focus on three areas:
- Health promotion and preventive work environment management.
- Employeeship and life as a student.
- The work environment for collegially appointed managers.
Action plan with activities
Seven activities will be carried out within the framework of the three focus areas. Each activity relates to one - and sometimes several - of the three focus areas. The activities are followed up in connection with the annual follow-up of the systematic work environment management and are revised if necessary.

How the goal, focus areas and activities have been developed
The university's overall goal for work environment management is decided and followed up by the Vice-Chancellor after collaboration in the central safety committee.
The work environment activities are designed based on
- the results of the annual follow-up of the systematic work environment management,
- the needs revealed by other surveys or follow-ups,
- dialogue with local safety committees, representatives from the safety organisation and support functions.
