Sustainability Report for 2023

A sustainability report for Lund University providing a summary of last year’s sustainability work has now been published. It builds on texts and results from the annual report and the environmental report to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency as well as a follow-up on the University’s Sustainability Plan.

For the first time, we are bringing together what we do on sustainability into a cohesive report. In doing so, we want to contribute to making all the University’s many dimensions of sustainability transparent and accessible,” says Claes Nilén, environmental manager at Lund University.

The report provides an overview of the University’s sustainability work within education, research, external engagement and its own operations. The basis of the sustainability work is formed by the university-wide Sustainability Strategy and the Sustainability Plan that follows the Global Goals for sustainable development. In addition, faculties and their equivalents are producing sustainability plans with targets and measures for each organisation.
