ERC Starting Grant 2026 workshop

European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grants (StG) are open to researchers 2 – 7 years after their PhD, and provide up to €1,5 million for up to 5 years. The next call is the StG 2026 call, with preliminary deadline in October 2025. Research Services provides support to all researchers at Lund interested in this scheme. 

Our support starts with an ERC Starting Grant Workshop, which will provide participants with an in-depth overview and practical information on the ERC Starting Grant scheme. Participants will cover the written and unwritten rules for success in with ERC Starting Grants, as well as providing framework to put together an optimized application. The workshop will be held in English.

You are welcome to register for this workshop if you are planning to apply for an ERC StG in the next call (call 2026) with Lund University as your host institution, or if you are interested in applying for an ERC grant in the future.
