The Vice-Chancellor appoints the winners after a proposal by the student unions. The prize-winners
receive a diploma and a salary rise in accordance with the local collective agreement.
In addition, a grant of SEK 25,000 each is awarded to the departments to enable study trips for the prize-winners.
The grants are allocated from the university-wide funds for education.

Oriana Quaglietta Bernal
Oriana is a senior lecturer at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences.
Oriana is a teaching staff member with a strong focus on developing her own teaching and pedagogy. Her passion for the subject is clearly seen in her teaching and rubs off on the students. Oriana has a great ability to intertwine theoretical concepts with the subject in practice, often through examples from her own work and popular media. Oriana creates a secure environment for the students and is described as sensitive to the student group’s different needs, which creates a good climate for discussion.
Patrik Lindskoug
Patrik is a senior lecturer at the Department of Law, Faculty of Law.
Patrik is described as a teaching staff member who always has his students’ perspectives in mind and together with great enthusiasm for his subject, he creates a very enjoyable and educational environment in the lecture hall. Patrik has a talent for intertwining theory and practice through clear examples, which results in the students being able to apply what they have learned in actual situations. Patrik is described as approachable and receptive to the students’ thoughts and opinions, something that he then uses to improve his teaching methods and course design.
