Sustainable proposal testbed
An opportunity to create a more sustainable workplace and/or test the sustainability potential of an idea or innovation by using Lund University itself as a testbed.
What does it fund? Receive support of up to 300,000 SEK per project, for a project period of up to 12 months.
Who can apply? Employees at Lund University.
Deadline: February 28.
Validation of ideas with a sustainability focus
An opportunity for research based innovation projects with impact on sustainable development. The grant can fund activities that can clarify and verify the potential of the project.
What does it fund? Funding up to SEK 150 000 for external or internal services (can include salary at the hosting department).
Who can apply? Researchers with projects at LU Innovation. And scheduled to open in March 2024….
Deadline: No deadline – projects are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Sustainable idea exploration
An opportunity for researchers to fund activities outside the scope of their existing research project. It supports early, innovative ideas from research projects that can impact sustainability.
What does it fund? Granted proposals receive funding up to 150 000 SEK per project.
Who can apply? The main applicant must be a researcher or PhD-student employed at Lund University.
These grants are funded through the Lund University Sustainability Fund, which is run as a collaboration with Sustainability Forum, LU Innovation, and LU Estates, these grants offer a gateway to turn your sustainability ideas into reality.
Deadline: Currently planned for May 7th.
