In a solemn ceremony at Lund Cathedral, the doctoral students who completed their doctoral studies in the past year and successfully defended their doctoral theses at Lund University will have their degrees conferred. At the ceremony, degrees are also conferred on the faculties’ honorary doctors. Doctors who completed their doctoral degrees 50 years ago become jubilee doctors.
This year there is a record number of conferees:
- 266 doctors
- 67 jubilee doctors
- 15 honorary doctors

The procession sets off for the Cathedral from the Main University Building at 12:00.
All staff members are welcome to watch the procession through Lundagård.
