Revised guidelines for remote working for technical and administrative staff

The University has revised the guidelines concerning remote working for technical and administrative staff.

The revision applies from 1 July 2024 and there are now two sets of circumstances in which the collective bargaining agreements between the Swedish Agency for Government Employers and the central employee organisations make it possible for employees to work remotely from another country.

For employees at Lund University, it applies to the following two situations:

When employees have their workplace in Sweden and commute from their home in Denmark. This applies if remote working is undertaken at home and in a way that is equivalent to the applicable arrangements for remote working that apply within Sweden’s border.

When employees occasionally spend a short period (one to two weeks) working remotely from another country within the EU or EES.
