Staff from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, on exchange in Lund. The host for the visit is Pär Svensson, External Relations.

This week, (11-15 Sept) Lund University is visited by a group of technical and administrative staff from Stellenbosch University in South Africa. The visit is part of a digital and physical exchange programme that started in May and will end in December.

The group from Stellenbosch University will job shadow, among others, the Division of Research, Collaboration and Innovation, the Legal Department, Arkivcentrum syd, LU Accommodation, Student Affairs and the University Library. By hosting a South African colleague, workplaces at LU also get the opportunity for increased global engagement and internationalisation at home.

The purpose of the exchange programme is to offer technical and administrative staff the opportunity for increased global engagement and for professional development by comparing, evaluating and developing work processes and tools.

The exchange programme is a goal of LU's Global Dynamic Engagement Framework (GDE-F) for Africa 2023 and is financed with external funding from the European Union’s educational programme Erasmus+.
