Sustainability Week is an annual event focusing on sustainable development, organised as a joint venture by Lund University and Lund municipality.

The program offers discussions and actions, exploring both societal challenges of today and hopeful visions for the future. In April 8-13 2024, the Sustainability Week will be held for the eighth time, and you now have the chance to contribute!

In 2023, the Sustainability Week broke the attendance records with a program consisting of over 100 events – with everything from lectures, workshops and panel discussions, to exhibitions, concerts and guided tours. During 6 days in Lund, topics linked to both economic, ecological and social sustainability were discussed.

The Sustainability Week is open to the public and is therefore a good opportunity to reach out widely with your research. It is also a good opportunity to practice presenting popular science and at the same time create new networks both within and outside of the university.

The Sustainability Forum at Lund University is now accepting calls of interest to organize events during the next Sustainability Week, 8–13 April 2024. University employees and student organizations are welcome to submit their expressions of interest: Sustainability Week in Lund | Sustainability Forum

For questions, contact Stina Lundkvist stina [dot] lundkvist [at] cec [dot] lu [dot] se at Sustainability Forum.

The deadline for expressing interest in organizing an event is February 1, 2024.
