A national one-minute silence will be observed on Tuesday 11 February at 12:00 to honour the victims of the act of violence in Örebro. The University calls on staff and students to participate in this one-minute silence wherever they happen to be at that moment.

The flags on the Main University Building will fly at half-mast from 09:00 in the morning until the conclusion of the one-minute silence.

The initiative for the one-minute silence comes from the Government, which has also called for flags to fly at half-mast. The prime minister has called for widespread observance of the one-minute silence.
